Elizabeth Martindale, Rachel Mccall, Rebecca Allen, Hannah Eastwood ( c )

Jodie Murphy-Bigley, Brooke Grayson, Katrina Bennett, Amy Nowell

Olivia Mellor, Daisy Parry, Jasmine Hewitt

Substitutes: Isobel Wragg, Nicole Hague

Our 3rd match Vs Chesterfield in the last four games, and turned into a very similar game, keeping our 3rd clean sheet against them, aswell as playing some great football. We started quickly scoring after around 10-15 second through ex-chesterfield player, Jasmine Hewitt, who finished really well went sent through one on one. We made it 2 around 15 minutes later after Katrina played a perfect pass for Daisy to finish. We made it 3-0 before half time through substitute Izzy Wragg who scored with her first touch from a well taken corner from Daisy. We could have scored more, through various chances, which fell to Jodie from a corner, Brooke when the ball found her free in the box, and more, but 3-0 at half time is more than good enough.

HT 3-0 – A really good half from the girls, with some great football played. Couldn’t really say anything to them except to keep doing more of the same.

We got our fourth around 10 minutes into the half after Izzy scored a great goal from outside the box, making it 2 on the day for her and her 7th of the season, already surpassing her goals tally last year, with plenty of football still to play this season. Not one to miss out scoring, Olivia got in on the act after playing a great 1-2 with Daisy to get her 18th of the season taking her to 3rd in the league scoring charts.

Ft 5-0 – Like I said previously, we could have scored more, and do need to be more clinical in the final third, however 5 goals, a clean sheet, and some excellent football is a good performance. Now a week off before we get back to it vs Bawtry on the 24th

MOM – Isobel Wragg – Best performance from Izzy this season, keeping the ball well, making some great challenges also, aswell as picking up two goals in the process, and was very unfortunate not to finish with a Hat-trick

Vs Chesterfield 03/02/2018 – MOM – Katrina Bennet – A wonderful box to box performance from Katrina vs her old team, rounded off with a contender for goal of the season, smashing a volley in direct from a corner
