Owls Hold Trials
Due to the interest shown in representing Sheffield Wednesday WFC this season, the club has decided to run trials by invitation this season.

The trials will take place on the 20th June 2010 at a venue to be confirmed, although it will be in or around Sheffield. The trial will take form as part of a coaching session and practice game delivered by the coaching staff of SWWFC.

Director of Football, Dan Duke commented "because of the high volumes of players that show an interest in playing for Sheffield Wednesday every year we have decided this season to run a trial by invitation. All we do is ask interested players to email us their footballing CV so that we can evaluate the standard at which they have, or are playing at present. This way it stops us throwing an inexperienced player into the lions den, which could ultimately put her off football for good.

Every CV that we recieve will be replied too, and the experienced coaching staff of SWWFC along with me will decide which players will be invited to trials.

If we could ask for all CV's to be sent to maslin191@btinternet.com by Saturday June 12th and we guarantee all trialists will be informed by Monday June14th whether they were succesful or unfortunate this time"

Please note that all players must be over 16 on or before the 15t August 2010 to be eligible to play in open age football at the beginning of the season. This is an FA requirement.
