 Sheffield Wednesday Women is delighted to announce that a new deal has been struck with 1861 Leisure LTD for the club to continue playing its home games at Sandy Lane , Worksop (Pictured) for the 2010/2011 Season.
Everyone involved with the Owls would like to thank The Village Bar in Clowne especially Karen, Wayne and Tony and 1861 Leisure LTD for making this deal happen.
Scott Turner Commercial Manager said “This is Fantastic news for everybody involved with SWWFC and I would personally like to thank Karen, Wayne and Tony for their fantastic contribution to SWWFC in making this deal happen. I would also like to go on record to thank all the current sponsors, players and management at SWWFC for the 2009/10 season and can guarantee next season will be a fantastic and bright future for the Owls in the Commercial sector and for the whole set up of this wonderful Club”.
Chairman Jeff Maslin commented “One of the biggest expenses for us every year is the ground cost, and to have secured Worksop Town again for another season through the kind donation of Karen and Co is a massive boost for our club. I would like to thank everyone involved in this deal for their generosity and hard work”
Scott continued “May I also remind people or Companies interested in going to the Owls end of season Awards night to be held At Hillsborough Stadium on the 1st May 2010 that they contact either me or Club Chairman Jeff Maslin Immediately for more Information. It should be a great night with a guest speaker, 3 course meal, an auction of some great items and a disco and a bar until 0100”
